The Method

Time, Salt, and Nature.

We believe in letting nature do the work. Our wild fermentation process requires only simple ingredients and precise timing to develop deep flavors and complex probiotic profiles.

Unlike modern pickled products that rely on vinegar and heat pasteurization, true fermentation keeps the food completely raw and alive. We carefully monitor the temperature and acidity of every batch, ensuring safe, consistent, and delicious results that actively support your digestion.

Why Eat Fermented Foods?

A healthy body relies on a thriving internal environment. Introducing live cultures into your diet is one of the simplest ways to transform how you feel.

Enhanced Digestion

The fermentation process acts as a partial pre-digestion. Beneficial bacteria break down tough plant fibers and complex carbohydrates before the food even reaches your plate, making nutrients much easier for your body to absorb and utilize.

Microbiome Support

Every jar is packed with living, active probiotics. Regularly eating small amounts of these live cultures helps populate your gut with diverse, helpful bacteria that play a critical role in daily wellness and long-term vitality.

Our Story

It started with a simple desire for real, unpasteurized food that actually tasted good.

Years ago, we struggled to find authentic fermented products on grocery shelves. Almost everything was vinegar-based and heat-treated, stripping away the natural benefits of the ingredients. We started making our own small batches, focusing on high-quality produce and patient, slow fermentation. What began as a kitchen experiment quickly grew into CultureJar, as friends and neighbors asked for more.

Common Questions

Do I need to refrigerate my jars?

Yes. Because our products are raw and unpasteurized, they contain active cultures. Refrigeration slows down the fermentation process and prevents the jars from overflowing or becoming too sour.

How long do the ferments last?

Unopened jars keep perfectly in the fridge for up to six months. Once opened, we recommend enjoying the product within one month for the best flavor and texture.

How much should I eat?

If you are new to living foods, start small. One to two tablespoons with a meal is plenty. You can gradually increase your intake as your body adjusts.
